Merton and Wandsworth Branch: Paper Sale
On Saturday 3rd October 2009, the Merton and Wandsworth Branch of the British National Party held it’s first paper sale in Morden, Surrey, town centre.
The paper sale was a great success and more than 60 papers sold to the local community. Leaflets and Mothers Against Knives flyers were also handed out, and all literature was taken, we had a very positive response.
With the largest Mosque in Europe just a half mile up the road and a very large Muslim and Eastern European community in the area this is a very good showing of support for us.

I have seen that Mosque, it is bloody enormous.
I assume the size of it is to cater for the increase in traffic through Merton and Wandsworth in the very near future?
Brave work kinsmen.
I've spent many a night in Morden High street waiting for the 118 bus. It used to be a nice area, but has really sank over the last 10 -15 years. The closed shop behind the activists shown is common for Morden and Mitcham.
I love the fact that the Merton and Wandsworth group have used the Support Our Troops campaign instead of focusing on our Immigration Policy. We have to push all of our policies to the public, so that they have a reason to come up to us and ask questions about something that they didn't expect to see.
All the very best from the U.S
well done to all at Wandsworth i wish i had a Wand i would wish and make all these foreigners go back to there countries of origin.
I was born and bred in Tooting and have been back on a couple of occasions since leaving 20 odd years ago and know the problems your branch must go you through daily with the mass immigration that has swamped the area.Good luck to you all.
