The Labour Party dismantled a special unit created to track vacant and empty properties that could be occupied by squatters and, as a consequence of this, thousands of very valuable housing properties are falling into the hands of undesirables. Recently, a 495,00o pound house was made vacant so that repairs could be made. Because Lambeth Council dragged its feet, the property fell into the hands of squatters.
Unfortunately, squatters are not the only problem. Another property in the same borough and in the same ward was taken over by armed gangs that were using the property as a base for criminal activities. The Police only became aware of what was going on when a man that was being tortured managed to escape and collapsed near Norwood Road in West Norwood.
We do not know how many properties are empty and at risk of being taken over by undesirables. What we know is that the Labour Party in Lambeth is not interested in knowing. John Whelan, Conservative Councillor representing Thurlow Park Ward, told us that the only one unit in charge of tracking vacant and empty properties was dismantled by the Labour Party. Quite convenient, you might think since squatters, illegal immigrants and criminals need a place to live and Labour in Lambeth will make sure that they keep coming in.

Probably a policy, they intend to cram in as many as possible to get the job done asap.
This is why Gordon brown allows people who rent out rooms to lodgers to earn £80 a week RENT FREE, that;s how desperate they are.
See how all these policies fit together.
