Tunisia: Trapani Virgin Mary procession called off in Tunis

Last year Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London, urged Londoners to fast for a day during Ramadam so that people would have a better understanding of Islam.

And he is far from alone, Caroline Spelman claimed that the burkha empowers women who wear it, and David Cameron said that native Britons should adapt to Muslim way of life and not the other way round.

The Islamification of Britain is an exemplar of the treachery committed by our political class in peacetime.

But how tolerant are Muslim countries?

There is an enlightening story reported by Ansamed, an Italian press agency.

Unsurprisingly it has been ignored by MSM, because it would breach the NUJ guidelines and be at odds with their marxist agenda.

The procession of the Virgin Mary of Trapani, held in the parish church of La Goulette (Tunis), could not be held as scheduled due to a lack of authorisation.

The procession, which has not been held since August 15 1960 was announced during the meeting of ”Tunisia, Land of Religious Encounters and Tourism”, organised over the last few days by the Association for the Protection and Renovation of La Goulette, in collaboration with the Catholic diocese of Tunis and the Grand Rabbinate of Tunisia.

The event had been eagerly awaited by the many believers who had gathered in the parish church where the archbishop of Tunisia, Maroun Laham, said mass.

The suspension caught everyone out according to Kapitalis, the parish priest said that the non-authorisation by Tunisian authorities was a consequence of the difficulty to ”get round” a 1964 law regulating worship by the Catholic Church in Tunisia.

In the words of Don Llambrich wrote Kapitalis, it is important for Christians and foreigners to fully comply with ”the rules established by the Tunisian Republic if we want to continue worshipping without restrictions.”

Do we in the UK have the right to make laws regulating worship by Muslims or any other religions?

Of course not because the ‘establishment’ would condemn it as abhorrent, and an example of religious and racial intolerance.

But the fact that a country like Tunisia has a law denied to us is not that surprising because we all know there is one law for them and another law for us.

Interestingly Tunisia is not a country one would associate with radical Islam, more of moderate Islam, but it demonstrates once again that Islam and democracy are incompatible.

I do not blame Tunisia for their stand, actually they should be praised for preserving their identity and I am more happy with that.

However, if Tunisia feels they have the right to deny authorization for a procession, we should have the right to decide what Muslim festivals should or should not be allowed, and force them to ask permission.

I believe it is time we learned from Tunisia and fought back, one way to do this is to present a motion at the next BNP conference calling for the introduction of a similar law to regulate worship by Muslims.

After all no one is accusing the Tunisians of xenophobia and religious intolerance are they?

It is wicked of boris johnson to expect us, nonbelievers to fast like a slave.
No big deal about fasting. After all we poor nonbelievers go without food quite often.
But it is wrong to force a person to fast like a slave to an alien slave ideology.
islam is all about slavery and enslavement..
boris johnson should prevent slavery instead of ignorantly promote slave ideology
in the free western world. .

Tunisia was once part of the great Roman Christian Empire, along with Egypt, Syria and modern Palestine – to say nothing of Turkey. Why are their populations no longer Christian? Because the peace-loving Moslems took them by the sword in the 7th century and persecuted the natives over centuries into adopting their religion. In the once-Christian West, the sword has now been replaced by the womb, and the same result will come about, provided the current demographics continue and our "leaders" pretend it isn't happening.

But Constantius,as you know, if we do not adhere to their desert religion as specified by their perverted paediophile leader they will,of course, revert to the sword, the bomb, aircraft into towers and other such violent methods.Until us tolerant Brits have had enough and they will know about it then.

If those middle eastern, asiatics, africans main ideology is still based on enslavement ideology and obssession with accummulation of land that do not belong to them, then there is no point them preaching any socalled peace ideology or professing any religion..

Whilst here muslims demand we conform to there evil religion ,our peers even want us to cast of our christian beliefs and go back hundreds of years to accept this barbaric, suppressive and out dated ''religion'' and have even produce laws so to oppose this alien entity is illegal. The idiots that govern us have given extremists more rights than the indigenous populous and allowed then to prosper without fear but in a muslim state we find that us Christians won't be allowed the same leeway totally the opposite in fact.A documentary ,which was surprisingly done by BBC's panorama, showed that Christians in muslim countries are treated like 3rd class citizens, made to live in slum area's,not considered for jobs other than the most demeaning and churches aren't allowed to be built ,only a few have to for public show,so some one's home is used as a place of worship but do we hear our peers complain or the church…NO,there stand idly by and allow our nation be eradicated.

  5. WLIL says:

It is just one of the tactics of those manipulative racist islamic people to milk support from the west and then come attacking us, nonbelievers, with their intrusive, evil totalitarian islamic ideology/culture.
