Not related to London but relevant to the BNP nationally.

Wigan Patriot

Last Chance Saloon…………….For Some!
It’s now or definitely never…….if the establishment are ever going to succeed in bringing down the British National Party………… and this for good.

With all their mighty clout, the endless pot of monetary contributions from both internal and external bodies of Westminster, the government quangos, the media magnates and the usual frothing lunatic ‘leftard’ unions, British hating Commies, Marxist cranks, infiltrators, druggies, spongers, soap dodging freaks and it certainly goes much further and beyond when you add the name of PM David Cameron to the list of the deviant on the fascist left, who have all tried and failed to put a stop to the British National Party march.

Two MEP’s, London Assembly member, County Councillors and a plethora of dedicated local Councillors and many a stalwart branch and group up and down this great nation of ours dedicated to our cause, who all continue to shine.

And this fantastic bond continues to grow and grow at an absolutely fantastic rate in support of the British National Party, the last bastion of hope for our sorry browbeaten. Just look at Facebook for example – this just proves the rate at which we are expanding. I remember seeing the first few hundred “Like This” members of the British National Party coming though via the Facebook facility and willing for more….If you look now I bet we’re touching on the 40,000 mark or maybe we’ve already passed the 40,000 “members” by the time you’ve read this!

Locally we took over 10,000 votes just in the Wigan and Leigh district alone at the last local and general elections! We were the highest returning of all the North West areas in terms of votes cast when Mr Nick Griffin was elected as an MEP in 2009.

So, if it’s not broken then why try and fix it? What’s all fuss? Who’s doing what and why? Who’s putting another spanner in the works if anyone is?

The powers that be have thrown everything they have at us…..and yet still we march on and on and on….they know and we know that we will never ever surrender…

Mr Nick Griffin MEP has decided to announce an end to his tenure as Chairman of the British National Party and he will gladly step down after fifteen years at the helm in 2013 to the huge disappointment of those who wanted to see Nick and the British National Party succumb to the relentless hostility, violence and be reeling in the gutter well before this date. Because it means no matter how much backing they had, they could not break the BNP.

And yet, we are having to face just one last final concerted effort – just one more trick up their sleeve from those that wish to derail this carriage of hope….and I am absolutely convinced that if they can’t break the unity of the British National Party now…. then they never will!

Full steam ahead!

London Organisers met in Central London last Thursday 22nd July, to discuss their plans for the crucial 2012 Mayoral and Greater London Assembly elections due to take place on 3rd May that year.

A committee has been set up to oversee the election with various representatives given specific roles to fulfil as the campaigning gets under way later in the year. Further members will be co-opted onto the committee as and when required.

As we advertised on London Patriot back in June, if you want to be considered as our London Mayoral candidate please forward your curriculum vitae giving information about yourself and your political experience to date, to PO Box 61680, Eltham, London SE9 9BE. Don’t forget to include your BNP membership number. The closing date for this has been extended to Saturday 14th August.

Acting London Organiser and GLA researcher Chris Roberts gave organisers a paper which contained a foreword from himself together with the members of the committee, their respective roles and their contact details.

A draft leaflet for the campaign start in October this year was also put in front of organisers for their input and comments. Chris Roberts commented “it is important all London activists buy into our strategy if it is to have maximum effect and we are to deliver a strong campaign”.

After obtaining a bridgehead in the GLA with one Assembly member in 2008 it’s vital the BNP build on this success in 2012, however, that will only be achieved with every organiser, member and activist in London coming together to deliver our most intense campaign yet.

The meeting went off very well with all those present agreeing that our theme for 2012 will resonate with hard pressed London taxpayers and is something all London BNP can get their teeth into!

A statement by Chris Roberts – Acting London Regional Organiser.

All political parties have a blip from time to time, we in the BNP are no different and after a number of years of unprecedented success it was bound to happen that we would enter a more difficult phase before our upward curve continues again. I have no doubt that once we work through our current difficulties everyone will concentrate on the important mission ahead, that of securing a better future for our children and our children’s children.

Now I have always believed that without activists our party is impotent and totally ineffective. Activists are the lifeblood of our electoral success and I also believe sometimes our activists are taken for granted and not praised highly enough. Make no mistake, activists get our councillors elected, got our London Assembly member elected and our European MPs elected. Of course its very easy to think when you’ve been elected it was all your own doing and that without “my” charismatic input it would never have happened! As much as I try not to deflate some of the bigger ego’s in this party, sadly they are deluded if they think that’s the case. Furthermore, any elected councillor, Assembly member or European MP is elected to serve the interests of the public who elected them on the manifesto and policies they set out at the election. Working hard for constituents should be a given in order to demonstrate that voting BNP is the right way to progress our nation’s interests which in turn gives the BNP positive publicity and promotion. Sometimes we must take a critical look at ourselves and where we have let ourselves down we must strive to do better.

It was with this in mind when the Acting London Organiser job was thrust upon me that I decided to look and analyse some areas where we could improve our effectiveness in promoting London BNP. It did not not make sense to me that the third highest elected official in the BNP would also have time to be a Branch Organiser, therefore, following a discussion with various high ranking individuals (including our London Assembly member) I decided that it would be a far better use of his talents to be going around London visiting critical organisations such as age concern, hospitals or various transport bodies etc and of course the general public in order to get valuable feedback and act on any concerns they may have as well as heighten the profile of London BNP. After all our GLA Assembly member was elected on the London wide top up list and has a duty to the whole of London.

In my opinion the Assembly Member has not been been sacked as the Dagenham and Barking organiser, rather the spirit of that manouvre is designed to give the member more time to work on and enhance his London wide responsibilities as well as positively influencing London BNP’s profile.

So to all London BNP organisers, officials, members and supporters, any decision I make is only done with the best interests of London BNP in mind, ego’s and personalities are of no interest to me. The legacy we leave our children and our grandchildren will ultimately be our judge and jury. So allow me here and now to thank all London activists from the bottom of my heart, without you we will not endure, it is a privilige to work with you and I know once these current difficulties are out of the way we will once again together be working hard to get more London BNP candidates elected and they will in turn strive to make our capital city a safe and pleasant place for our people to live and work in!

Nationalists will remember how Richard Barnbrook, when he was a BNP councillor, shot a video in which he claimed three murders took place in Barking & Dagenham.

Afterward he realised he had made a mistake but the purpose of that video was to raise awareness of the problem of gang-related crime, a common occurrence in London and the rest of the UK.

However as the establishment is committed to stop the British National Party by any means at their disposal it was inevitable that both the Great London Assembly and Barking & Dagenham town hall would start disciplinary action against Mr Barnbrook.

Well, we are happy to report that London Assembly member Richard Barnbrook won his appeal against Barking and Dagenham Council after a tribunal ruled he had made the claim as a City Hall politician rather than a councillor. This meant he was not in breach of the council code of conduct and therefore his one-month council suspension has been quashed.

Barking and Dagenham Council is understood to have spent between £15,000 and £20,000 investigating Mr Barnbrook after his video was posted online in September 2008. He said his dyslexia had made him blunder on the YouTube video.

City Hall ruled he had brought the Greater London Authority into disrepute following a standards hearing in September 2009.

The City Hall findings stand as he withdrew his appeal against the GLA. Mr Barnbrook served his council suspension in October 2009.

This is another victory for the British National Party and it sent a clear signal that we will continue to tell the truth and we will not tolerate any form of intimidation or attempts to silence us.

Nonetheless it’s important to focus on the cost of this state-sponsored harassment.

Barking & Dagenham is in dire financial condition (it must save £43m in the next three years) and deep cuts in frontline services are expected as well as many lay-offs of council staff, but in spite of that Labour felt entitled to waste between £15,000 – £20,000 of taxpayers money to persecute an elected politician because he dared to tell the truth about gang-related crime.

It may be interesting to know how this money was spent, if someone got paid to offer legal advice and if a cost-benefit assessment was carried out.

As the only purpose of this disciplinary action was to satisfy the vanity of some members of the Labour party, maybe it’s time that either Labour councillors or the Labour party dug deep in their pockets to refund taxpayers.

You couldn’t make it up..

If there is one positive thing about the emergency budget delivered by George Osborne is that it’s giving headaches to the Labour councillors in Barking & Dagenham.

So far the the council’s £18m primary school fund was slashed down to £4.8m.

However the soaring influx of new residents and the increase of the birthrate from 2,380 in 2001 to 3,619 in 2008 means there is more demand for school places.

Cllr Rocky Gill, cabinet member for education, said: “This news comes as a complete kick in the teeth for our borough.”

As expected Labour councillors are blaming government for any cuts in essential services and they clearly believe that people in Barking & Dagenham are thick like the “antifascists” that helped them to get elected.

Very few people (if any) in the borough support George Osborne but they know very well that it was Labour that created this problem in the first place by swamping the borough with immigrants in order to dilute the electoral base of the British National Party.

Without this influx there wouldn’t be any need to build any new schools as there wouldn’t be any shortage of school places and long-term residents never wanted this enrichment in the first place.

However what really worried labour councillors is that they cannot continue the ethnic cleansing of the borough.

Without new schools it will be hard to convince people (even ethnics) to move into the borough, as Jon Cruddas admitted last week, and this means that in 2014 the BNP has still the chance to get councillors elected.

In the meantime life for Labour is getting really hard.

Apart from the cuts in funding from central government the council must save £43m in the next three years (instead of the £36m predicted) and the next fiscal year it will have to save £5.5m in addition to the £14m already planned.

The BNP knew that the situation was really bad and this is why we planned to cut wasteful spending.

Given that Labour is not going to end funding to politically correct projects, interpreters, translations, immigration-only groups, close down the council newspapers and reduce the salaries of senior civil servants you can expect deep cuts in essential services.

How people will react is anybodies guess but at least Labour will have to pay the price for their own arrogance and contempt to voters.

Who knows, maybe the UAF and Searchlight did us a favour, after all what’s better for nationalists than watching the Labour party digging its own grave?

Technically she could be disbarred from standing in this election. She yet has to face the law. Anyway the BNP is getting a good result from canvassing in the ward and require more help to get Richard Barnbrook elected.

Anyone who understands British politics and the history of the BNP understands why a leadership challenge has come about. It is only natural and normal for a political party to have a leadership challenge and for members to agitate for change. We live in an increasingly complex world where change is the norm and we have to adapt to ensure our survival and success. A leadership challenge in any organisation generally brings a lot of benefits and positive outcomes. In this case these benefits would accrue not only to party members but supporters and the voting public. The BNP has made mistakes in the past and faced many battles. Both Nick Griffin and Eddy Butler have made huge personal sacrifices to modernise and progress the party and our success today is down to a lot of their efforts and leadership.

It is then a great pity from my point of view that the leadership battle has so far been dogged by personal mud slinging and allegation and counter allegation. This does not befit a proud, serious and mature political party and leaves some members feeling embarrassed and wondering what is going on. If this situation is to continue it also allows the obsessive haters of the party, which there are quite a few both on the left and right, a vehicle to poison the same air we breathe.

Whatever the respective candidates think of each other they need to ensure that the party does not stall in this period but continues to grow and progress. We are quickly running out of time. We also need to see that party unity is the first and foremost consideration of the candidates and this includes open dialogue between candidates, hustings and a free and fair election. For the sake of all the membership and party unity the sniping has to stop lets not repeat the mistakes of the past.

The Duty of Nationalists: Article from Lee John Barnes taken from his 21st Century British Nationalism blog.

I gather from chatter on the internet that there is going to be a leadership challenge in the BNP.

The fact that this is a leadership challenge, as opposed to an coup within the party as during the Decembrists attempted takeover, means that this is going be run in accordance with party rules and procedures.

Heres a tip for nationalists.

The true leader of a Nationalist Party is the one that realises that no-one wins a victory if the credibility, integrity and unity of the party is damaged during the leadership election process. At the moment it appears that some people on the internet seem to think that a formal leadership challenge is one based on smear blogs, attacks and dirty tricks.

Anyone involved in that sort of behviour does not deserve to be in the BNP, let alone to lead the BNP.

All political parties have regular leadership challenges.

It is a basic feature of the democratic internal process of all political parties.

The sign of any mature political party that is ready for power, is how it undergoes that leadership challenge process.

At the moment I see two sides totally hostile developing on the internet, who each seem to think that this leadership challenge process should be fought as though it were based on Mutual Self Destruction.

The only people who profit from a BNP leadership campaign based on smears, attacks blogs, name calling and factionalism – is the enemy.

Any Nationalist who uses this leadership challenge to undermine the BNP, the Nationalist cause and our political growth is a traitor.

This challenge, will and must be, fought in a way that brings honour to the party and nationalism.

Those that are trying to use this challenge as a mechanism to peddle division, factionalism and hate amongst our ranks is an enemy – and must be treated as one.

Regardless of who they support, those that act in that way are the inner enemy.

All those whose actions damage the party, the nationalist cause and our political growth in society – will be remembered.

Those who think there can ever be a victory in any leader inheriting a divided, factionalised and disunited party – is either a fool or a traitor.

I would ask all those bloggers, BNP activists and supporters to act solely for the benefit of the party.

If you support a candidate – then simply support them, and do not attack the other side in such a way that the information can be used against us in the future.

This leadership challenge is beginning to cause real damage to the party and British Nationalism.

Those who act in such a way to undermine the party will be liable to a disciplinary hearing as regards their internet activism, if it can be demonstrated that they intended, or should have known, their comments could be used by the enemy against us and have damaged the party and our long term political growth.

Campaign all you like for whoever you support, but if you think you can turn this campaign into a BNP Boot Party, and destroy the party in the process, then think again.

I will be collecting all comments and statements from people that could or have damaged the party.

Those who are trying to use this campaign to undermine the BNP will be stopped.

I have only one thing to say on what has happened so far.

Those who film the antics of a drunken idiot in order to release that information on the internet, and those who are involved in leaking that footage on the internet, are as bad as the drunken idiot.

Each is as despicable as the other.

Neither gives a toss for the party, British Nationalism and our growth as a political party.

The only people who benefit from that sort of behaviour are our enemies.

The fact that people do not seem to understand the fundamental issue, which is that the candidate they support has to try and run the BNP – and they cannot do that if the party is divided, disunited and factionalised – means neither side wins a victory.

If people cannot act as intelligent, rational and decent human beings and show respect to fellow Party Comrades in a way that brings credit to the party and nationalism – then they do not deserve to be in the BNP.

A few days ago we reported that the Alliance of European Nationalist Movements (AENM), a pan-European party made up of nationalist parties have chosen to work together at a European level.

On the 16th and 17th of June, the AENM held its first General Assembly in Strasbourg.

The Chairman Bruno Gollnisch set up the agenda and drew the position the AENM will take in the near future. The General Assembly then proceeded to renew the “Bureau”, the political leadership of the party namely, the President (Bruno Gollnisch), Vice-President (Nick Griffin), Treasurer (Bela Kovacs) and General Secretary (Valerio Cignetti).

The assembly then deliberated on the enlargement of the party by accepting applications from the “Partido Nacional Renovador” and “Nationaldemokraterna” to join the AENM increasing the total number of represented Nations to nine.

The full list of the members is now:

- Front National (France)

- Jobbik (Hungary)

- Fiamma Tricolore (Italy)

- British National Party (Great Britain)

- Svoboda (Ukraine)

- Movimiento Social Republicano (Spain)

- Front National du Belgique (Belgium)

- Partido Nacional Renovador (Portugal)

- Nationaldemokraterna (Sweden)

The appointment of Nick Griffin as Vice-President is an acknowledgment of his talent and his dedication to nationalism.

Mr Griffin is well known outside Britain and many party leaders in Europe respect him for turning the BNP into the most feared political party in Britain.

How effective the AENM will be is difficult to judge, but if Mr Griffin in his new position of Vice President can replicate, even in a small way what he has achieved for the BNP, you can expect shockwaves across the EU.

So should nationalists thank Margaret Hodge?

Her landslide victory gave our Chairman more time to concentrate on the new AENM project, and make an even bigger impact at the European level.

Mrs Hodge urged BNP members to pack their bags and leave, and this is what Mr Griffin did: he left Barking to go to Brussels and Strasbourg where he will stay until 2014.

How does the old saying go?
“Be careful what you wish for”?

Labour is funded by foreigners. Analysis of its donors shows a great deal of them originate overseas and probably have second passports, holdings and estates overseas some in their countries of origin. A snapshot of these donors was provided by an article in the Times newspaper recently. It showed that every Labour donor who has given more than £1m has received a peerage or a knighthood also. Donors include Sir Christopher Ondaatje, Sir Gulam Noon, Sir David Garrard, Sir Ronald Cohen, Sir Frank Lowe and Sir Alan Sugar. Money talks and it gets you power what better way to be accepted in polite society as a foreigner than with a title.

Who are the new potential leaders of the Labour party not just the stalking horses? Well we have the East European Millibands, father Communist Jew, and then the African Diane Abbot. Have we really no home grown talent or is there another agenda?

Look at the groups opposed to the BNP the only nationalist and patriotic party. United Against Fascism organised by left wing Trotskyist Weymann Bennett an African and Sabby Dalu an Asian Muslim Communist. They work closely with other Communists from South Africa such as ex cabinet minister and terrorist Peter Hain. Friends of the UAF include Edie Friedman of the Jewish Council for Racial Equality and Dr Muhammed Abdul Bari of the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB). They also work closely with Searchlight another foreign run and foreign sponsored organisation.

Who are Labour voters? The BNP was defeated in Barking and Dagenham and bested in other parts of the country because of the foreign vote nothing more or less. Labour has been importing voters and giving them passports for years. Literally giving away our race and nations birthright and making us Brits feel like second class citizens in own country. The BNP raised this scandal years ago by exposing Labours pogrom of ’Africans for Essex’. A number of separate think tanks and organisations in the run up the General Election also speculated that the immigrant vote could win the General Election for Labour. The BNP were right and the think tanks were right. In whole swathes of the country the immigrant vote decided who and which which party won. Some of those parts of the country and now no-go areas for Brits.

I know this might sound controversial but it seems to me that Labour and some politicians are going all out to divide parties using race and religion. Something the others have accused the BNP of doing for years. Labour is weakened and bankrupt both morally and financially. Can it be held together? Do people even want to hold it together? I personally think Labour is in terminal decline. All the more reasons in my opinion to support the Millibands and Abbotts of this world in their ascent up the greasy pole.

15 June 2010.
Soldiers of the 1st Battalion, The Royal Anglian Regiment (Vikings) marched through Barking marking their return home from Afghanistan, and amidst the hatred from the Mohammedan invader flying the black flag, a courage not seen in these islands since the creation of the EHRC was shown. The EDL had the backbone to stand and protest against the new group of Islamic extremists ‘MAC’ and are to be congratulated.
The parade saw about 200 soldiers, accompanied by the Minden Band, march through the town with bayonets fixed and flags flying. The route saw the soldiers step off from Wakering Road and continue to Station Parade, through the market (East Street) and Barking Town Square.

A pity the ‘Police Service’ (Force) did not show the courage of the EDL when they were chased down the Mall by those same Mohammedans last year.

Press Statement: Labour Election Fraud Causes Barking Council By-Election
Thu, 27/05/2010 – 00:33 | BNP Communications

Election fraud committed by the Labour Party has forced its newly-elected councillor for the Goresbrook Ward in Barking & Dagenham to resign and force a by-election.

The ward previously held by British National Party GLA member Richard Barnbrook, was contested by the Labour candidate while he was still a council employee. Such open party allegiance is forbidden under council rules.

The Labour candidate’s employment record was uncovered as part of an ongoing investigation into election fraud in Barking & Dagenham being conducted by Mr Barnbrook.

“We informed the Labour Party that we would be going to court on this matter,” Mr Barnbrook said.

“Faced with the legal threat, the Labour councillor threw in the towel and resigned.”

The by-election will be held shortly and will be contested by the BNP.

“We have to be realistic about this election,” Mr Barnbrook said. “We know what happened here on 6th May and the reasons why it happened. Nonetheless, we will fight it to the best of our abilities on issues which really matter to the local people.”

* There are currently more than 50 cases of electoral fraud under investigation in Barking, mostly consisting of multiple voter registrations at identical residences.

It is Time to burst Nick Griffin’s bubble?
Created: Wednesday, 26 May 2010 10:22 Author: Green Arrow |

Well the day I have feared since June 2009 has arrived. I knew it was coming. I knew it had to come and today is the day. And this day started its journey just a short while after Nick Griffin MEP BNP made one of the greatest acceptance speeches ever after being elected to to the European Parliament.

Not long after the chairman of the BNP was elected, he stated, that because of his new commitments as an MEP, that he would no longer be as easily contactable as he had been in the past. He went on to apologise to all those of the Old Guard, that it was not because he did not wish to speak to them but simply that he no longer had the time.

Now I understood that. I barely have time to read comments let alone to respond to them and have become brusker and brusker in the telephone conversations I have with people who call me. Now it is “give me the information now – fast please. Must press on”.

But I was worried back then as a dark thought entered my mind. Was the chairman being isolated from the heart of the party – the activists and grass root membership and were new people enclosing him in a bubble so that the only people with access to the chairman, were themselves?

Well I believe that what I feared was not just a dark thought but really was the case. i will return to this theme later in the article.

Nick Griffin singing at the RWB
Do not take this away from the members

Now news has come in that the annual Red, White and Blue festival for 2010 will not now be taking place. Now I am not 100% sure of my facts but if this is so, then I think the membership of the BNP should be told and told now and the reasons for cancelling this event had better be pretty good.

But let us assume that it is the case and it is cancelled, then the chairman should consider this. He started the RWB all those years ago when few attended.

It was and is more than a weekend away from home.
It is a bonding experience for activists from all over the country to get together and talk with like minded people.
It is an opportunity for new members and supporters to see what Our Country could be like and to see what kind of people the British National Party really are.
The proposed three regional events are a no no. We can do that any weekend. Also the news that the new events will be contracted out to “Event Organisers” also makes me worry. Do we really need to pay people to organise these things? No I do not like the sound of it one bit.

By the way if anyone tellls you there was no site available, tell them this. “The Green Arrow says you are a bloody liar.”

Now the second thing that worries me is a copy of an email that I have received and confirmed as being genuine that I post below:

Dear Party Officer,

I am writing to you just to remind all areas who stood candidates in the General Election that all saved deposits retained must be banked
promptly or sent to the treasury office at:

Po Box xxxxxx

When collecting your saved deposits, if the council ask who the cheque should be made payable to, please ensure that the cheque is made payable to ‘British National Party’.

In the next few days treasury will be contacting all the areas who saved their deposit.
Any queries regarding this please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours sincerely.

David Hannam
01xxxxxx xxxxxx
Now I find this email ambiguous in the extreme and it should be clarified immediately. Is the Party saying that the deposits that were retained in almost 70 constituencies be handed over to the party?

I sincerely hope not, as I know many candidates who used their savings to pay the £500 deposits with the sole proviso that they have their money back should they reach the required percentage. A few have told me that the party can go whistle if that is case and I for one do not blame them. I could write more but will not for now.

I also know of several groups that have said that there is no way they will send the £500 deposits they saved to central party as the money was raised with the sweat and tears of the local activists. They intend to hold on to the money they raised and again I do not blame them.

I have said before about the way the party uses words. They must get their act together and they can start by rewriting the above letter and letting people know their intentions today.

Right now for the third and final part of this article. Rumours – and they had better be rumours – are reaching me that it is the intention to send key party people, people who are part of a new model army, off to America to learn how to market the BNP from our Yankeee cousins. They say that we can learn from Blue State Digital and quote the fact that it was BSD who handled the imposter presidents campaign.

Well let us get this out into the open now. Obama’s victory had NOTHING to do with Blue State Digital. Obama won because he was black. Over 95% of “Black Americans” voted for him – I believe the figures for other non whites was around 65% but not sure without checking.

It was also you must remember BSD who organised Ken Livingstones campaign for Mayor of London. Who is the Mayor now? Not Ken Livingstone – although it might as well be.

As for the talk about buying mobile homes for our new marketing people to cruise around the country in, then that had also better just be a rumour.

The party must act and act now. The chairman must burst the bubble that has been put around him and not lose touch with the grass roots members.

The British National Party is not just a political party – it is a revolutionary movement that must be grow across Western Europe if we as a race are to survive and quite frankly only Nick Griffin is capable of organising and leading that kind of movement but first he must ensure that his support here in the UK is 100% solid and not undermined by the carpetbaggers I said would come way back in time.

If there needs to be more blood then let us have it sooner rather than later.

Now I had hoped to write an article that would show you that contrary to what the papers say and even our party says, the election results were a major victory for the British National Party. I could tell you why the Labour Party is now being portrayed as a super efficient election machine but I suspect you already know the answer. Burst the bubble chairman – I implore you.

Bob has been in the role for 2 years giving sterling service to the BNP in London. Bob needs to concentrate on clearing his name following unfounded allegations of assault during the recent London Elections. However, to aid a smooth transitional period Bob has kindly agreed to carry on as an advisor to the incoming London organiser.

Everyone connected with the British National Party thanks Bob for his tireless commitment to Nationalism. Bob leaves London BNP in good shape with more Branches and Groups than ever before, recently London BNP stood a record number of candidates and it is testament to Bob’s tireless efforts that this was possible.

Christopher Roberts has agreed to take over as acting London Organiser until a successor to Bob is found. Chris is a long-standing member of the BNP currently working as a researcher to Richard Barnbrook in City Hall. Chris was London organiser in 2003/04 so is not coming into the position without some experience of what is expected.

From the blogsite of AM Richard Barnbrook.

http://www.richardbarnbrook.com/

Margaret Hodge’s comments on the election platform to fellow BNP contender Nick Griffin are an indication of the arrogance of New-Labour now that they have attained what is in effect a one-party state here in Barking and Dagenham.
Regrettably, despite all prior indications, she won! But her arrogant and gloating response to Nick at the very moment of her victory that the BNP should ‘pack their bags and go!’ was ill-judged and ungracious, to put it kindly. Let me make it clear now, we have no intention whatsoever of packing up and leaving this borough. In fact our intentions are to dig in, and on every occasion, we will contest Labour by petitioning, being active and focusing on the real concerns and issue that affect the good people of Barking and Dagenham.
What she didn’t see fit to take into account was that the BNP vote showed a marked increase on that attained in the last election. Over 6000 people voted for Nick. That’s a lot of people, if you tried to squeeze them all into the village hall! And we got our votes by legitimate means. Some people are wondering how the Labour party got theirs! But then rumours are only rumours, aren’t they? Like some that still persist in maintaining that rampant knife-crime doesn’t happen.
Many will be observing future political developments in Barking and Dagenham with great interest. Because now, Labour have managed to attain unprecedented success in taking every single council seat and have set up what is in effect, a one party state, which does not reflect the true will of the electorate, by any means. From whichever end of the political spectrum one views this, such a totalitarian state of affairs can’t be healthy. Indeed, for Labour to now be in a position of such unchallenged power is very concerning.
As for Margaret Hodge, she too will have her day. Her record as a politician is far from unblemished. And she is a member of the liberal political elite, all of whom have no real affinity with the people that they represent. It is only a question of time until the electorate see through her. Because it’s true as they say- you can take in some of the people some of the time. But you can’t dupe all the people all the time!

A few days ago I was reading the Barking & Dagenham Post (BD Post) and I was quite surprised!

The front-page was about the BNP losing all its seats in Barking & Dagenham and I expected the editorial comment to praise the good people of the borough for kicking the ‘racists’ out. (this is how we are usually described by the local press).
I was wrong.

Of course the editorial focussed on our bad results but it also expressed concerns about the fact that with no opposition to Labour it will make important decisions behind closed doors and will be unaccountable to anyone.

It also raised alarming concerns about the cuts that will need to be made in order to reduce the £36m budget deficit.

Indeed in the same issue there was another article about a plan to shut down 17 (out of 23) council buildings in order to cut costs.

That the financial situation of the borough was bad is hardly news, and that is why when BNP councillors delivered their alternative budget the BNP focused on reducing wasteful expenditure and using the savings to reduce the £36m deficit and cut the council tax.

Not surprisingly Labour rejected our proposals and they may have deliberately allowed the council financial situation to deteriorate so that if the BNP gained the control of the council (they knew we had a good chance of achieving it) we would face the fury of residents angered by the unpopular decisions we would be forced to make in order to deal with the problem.
Unfortunately things went differently but it now means that Labour will have to deal with the problem they created in the first place.

It is likely that many council workers will be sacked and council tax will increase, who will take the blame for it?

Labour of course.

The British National Party would have implemented common sense policies, such us cutting spending on interpreters and translation services, stopping the funding of immigrant groups, bringing in house some services that are now outsourced, thereby hugely reducing the salaries of senior council workers.

We all know it is very unlikely Labour will do any or all of the above, and that is why in the next 1-2 years they may lose so much support they will regret having taken the council in the first place.

It will be interesting to see how they justify an increase in the council tax or the cutting of some vital services when at the same time fat-cat civil servants are getting six figure salaries and ring fenced pensions.

Until now they have managed it by focusing on the ‘fascist’ threat and mobilising people like the UAF to stop the British National Party, a crafty and underhand way to move voters attention away from Labour failure and local politics.

Unfortunately for them they cannot do it anymore because the BNP now has no councillors and therefore they have no excuses, or anyone to blame.

Labour won control of the council but it also got its own poisoned chalice. Hoist on their own petard?

One of the things that can be said about last weeks election without fear of contradiction is that electoral fraud had been committed on a massive scale.

Below we have a story published in the Watford Observer about a complaint we made against the Royal Mail for refusing to deliver BNP election material.

The British National Party (BNP) is demanding a full and frank criminal investigation after thousands of General Election leaflets allegedly went undelivered by Royal Mail staff.

The party claims that up to 3,000 leaflets may have been deliberately misplaced by staff at Watford’s Ascot Road sorting office – meaning that they went undelivered to homes in the Bedmond area.

As a result, activists are suggesting, Parliamentary candidate Deirdre Gates was robbed of vital votes in her unsuccessful campaign for the South West Hertfordshire seat.

Party activist Simon Deacon claimed the party’s fifth place finish, behind the United Kingdom Independence Party, could have been improved if the leaflets had reached their intended destination.

He said: “We don’t know what difference these leaflets could have made, whether they would have improved our result or not, but we only just behind UKIP – who we wanted to beat.

“The worse thing is that we will never know because somebody at the Post Office decided that some people should not see these leaflets.

“We are upset because they cost a lot of money to produce and that people haven’t seen them.

“I think it should be up to the people Bovingdon what leaflets they choose to read.”

Royal Mail confirmed yesterday that an investigation into the matter was ongoing but chose not to comment directly on the party’s claims.

Hertfordshire Constabulary, meanwhile, confirmed this afternoon that it too was investigating the party’s claims.

A spokesman said: “We’ve been made aware of a complaint and are working with the Post Office whether any criminal activities have taken place.”

In a normal country postal workers should be forced to deliver leaflets for every party and anyone refusing to carry on his/her duty should be sacked.

Unfortunately Britain is not a normal country and there is little chance that this investigation will bring any positive result.

In spite of MSM spin it’s now clear that the British National Party is now the 4th biggest party in Britain.

A lot has been said about us thrashing UKIP, the Greens, and Respect, a noticeable result given that we have the whole establishment using all the dirty tricks in the book to attack and stop us.

A fact that has not been mentioned is that the General Election saw nearly £1 million in lost deposits from candidates achieving less than 5% of the vote. The biggest losers were the small parties, with UKIP losing 458 deposits, costing them £229,000.

The Green party was hit by a £164,000 loss, 265 lost deposits cost the BNP £132,500 and the English Democrats were out of pocket by £53,000.

In contrast, the Conservatives lost just two deposits, Labour five and the Liberal Democrats didn’t lose any.

Anthony Butcher, campaigner for the Regional Top-Up electoral system, says:

I think that we really need to examine what the purpose of the deposit is. At the moment, it is only acting as a hefty tax on small parties. The big parties with their huge election funds effectively pay nothing, while the smaller parties are forced to spend a large percentage of their income simply to offer the public an alternative. It’s time to reduce the threshold to 1% in the interests of reviving our democracy.

If the new Conservative and Lib Dem Government is serious about electoral reform, then why not switch to a system like Regional Top-Up that allows the electorate to vote for a party even if there is no local candidate. This will not only reduce the number of low quality paper candidates and allow everyone across the country to vote for their preferred party, but will also reduce the bill for lost deposits.

Deposits lost for each party

UK Independence Party: 458

Green: 328

Independent: 313

British National Party: 265

English Democrats: 106

Christian Party: 71

Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition: 38

Monster Raving Loony Party: 27

Socialist Labour Party: 23

Christian Peoples Alliance: 17

National Front:: 17

Alliance Party : 10

Scottish Socialist Party: 10

Plaid Cymru: 10

Pirate Party UK: 9

Respect-Unity Coalition: 8

Other small parties: 177

Total: 1887 (£943,500)

Nationalists may think that £132,500 may be a lot of wasted money for a party like the BNP that is operating on a shoe string budget but this should be seen as an investment rather than a cost.

Unlike the other small parties we don’t get fair coverage, and therefore we need to deliver our literature in order to give voters our side of the story.

Political parties have leaflets delivered by the Royal Mail and therefore having BNP members standing as candidates we can have whole constituencies leafleted, a huge advantage for areas that cannot be covered for lack of manpower.

Good to see UKIP losing almost twice as money as us.
