Another blow for the Labour party in Barking & Dagenham

Another blow for the Labour party in Barking & Dagenham

A few days ago we reported that Jon Cruddas was worried about Building Schools for the Future (BSF), a government project to build new schools or renovate existing ones.

The Labour MP for Dagenham and Rainham South feared that stopping this project would not only increase the shortage of school places at a time when birth-rates increased almost 100% in eight years, but it would not encourage young families to move into the borough (and Labour plans to complete the ethnic cleansing of the borough would be foiled).

Well, nationalists will be delighted to know that the project to rebuild 700 schools will be axed in a new wave of cuts after ministers were ordered to draw up ‘doomsday’ proposals to slash spending by up to 40 per cent.

Education Secretary Michael Gove will announce £5billion of cuts over the next five years by halting the Building Schools For The Future programme to overhaul run-down schools.

The decision will anger parents and teachers and could lead to the loss of thousands of jobs in the construction industry.

It comes as Chief Secretary to the Treasury Danny Alexander today unveils cuts across government totalling £1.5billion.

In addition to the £1billion that will go from the school building programme this year, a further £265million will be slashed from the Department for Business, £220million from local government and a further £55million will be cut from the Home Office.

But Mr Alexander has also written to the Cabinet telling ministers to prepare for the most swingeing cuts in the history of any Western country when the spending plans are finalised in October. Ministers have been given three weeks to prepare two packages of cuts – one involving 25 per cent, and the other totalling a staggering 40 per cent reduction.

Indeed this is another blow for the Labour party in Barking & Dagenham but very good news for nationalists.

We have said before that this problem was created by the Labour when they decided to swamp the borough with immigrants in order to dilute the electoral base of the British National Party.

Without this influx of third-world colonisers there wouldn’t be a shortage of school places, and there would be no need to build new schools and the people in Barking & Dagenham know this only too well. Life for Labour councillors is going to get very tough indeed and not just because they will be facing the fury of voters.

When Labour took control of the council they planned to bring more immigrants in in order to turn Barking & Dagenham into another Newham.

However, as it is now impossible to build new schools, it will be more difficult to convince young (and larger) families to move into the borough and this means that in 2014 the BNP still has a good chance to get councillors elected.

This is why Jon Cruddas is worried, and now that the BSF project has been scrapped he will have to spend more time and energy on fighting the BNP.

Interestingly the council launched a petition to save the £270m BSF project and the Barking & Dagenham Post invited readers to support it but only 31 people bothered. (against 50 councillors):

http://www.petition.co.uk/save-school-funding-in-barking-and-dagenham

So far the school projects that have been scrapped are:

All Saints

Barking Abbey

Barking Riverside Community (PFI)

Barking Riverside Special (PFI)

Eastbrook

Eastbury

Jo Richardson

Robert Clack

Trinity Special

Warren

Dagenham Park (sample- for discussion-PFI)

Sydney Russell (sample – for discussion)

How I said before the vistory for Labour came with a poisoned chalice.

Nationalists should look at how their areas have been affected.

Time of reckoning for Labour in Barking & Dagenham?

Time of reckoning for Labour in Barking & Dagenham?

Barking and Dagenham within Greater London. Ba...

Image via Wikipedia

If there is one positive thing about the emergency budget delivered by George Osborne is that it’s giving headaches to the Labour councillors in Barking & Dagenham.

So far the the council’s £18m primary school fund was slashed down to £4.8m.

However the soaring influx of new residents and the increase of the birthrate from 2,380 in 2001 to 3,619 in 2008 means there is more demand for school places.

Cllr Rocky Gill, cabinet member for education, said: “This news comes as a complete kick in the teeth for our borough.”

As expected Labour councillors are blaming government for any cuts in essential services and they clearly believe that people in Barking & Dagenham are thick like the “antifascists” that helped them to get elected.

Very few people (if any) in the borough support George Osborne but they know very well that it was Labour that created this problem in the first place by swamping the borough with immigrants in order to dilute the electoral base of the British National Party.

Without this influx there wouldn’t be any need to build any new schools as there wouldn’t be any shortage of school places and long-term residents never wanted this enrichment in the first place.

However what really worried labour councillors is that they cannot continue the ethnic cleansing of the borough.

Without new schools it will be hard to convince people (even ethnics) to move into the borough, as Jon Cruddas admitted last week, and this means that in 2014 the BNP has still the chance to get councillors elected.

In the meantime life for Labour is getting really hard.

Apart from the cuts in funding from central government the council must save £43m in the next three years (instead of the £36m predicted) and the next fiscal year it will have to save £5.5m in addition to the £14m already planned.

The BNP knew that the situation was really bad and this is why we planned to cut wasteful spending.

Given that Labour is not going to end funding to politically correct projects, interpreters, translations, immigration-only groups, close down the council newspapers and reduce the salaries of senior civil servants you can expect deep cuts in essential services.

How people will react is anybodies guess but at least Labour will have to pay the price for their own arrogance and contempt to voters.

Who knows, maybe the UAF and Searchlight did us a favour, after all what’s better for nationalists than watching the Labour party digging its own grave?

Jon Cruddas is having nightmares

Jon Cruddas is having nightmares

I take a vicarious pleasure in seeing traitors like Jon Cruddas running scared.

The Dagenham & Rainham South MP it would seem is extremely concerned that cuts in funding for new schools will mean that fewer are going to be built in Barking & Dagenham.

In an interview with the Barking & Dagenham Post, (BD Post) the Labour MP complained that austerity measures are going to affect children and their families, and the borough can ill afford it because in the last seven years the birth rate has increased by 50%, and more immigrant families and their children are moving to the borough.

Mr Cruddas as always was hesitant to admit that he and his party had created the problem in the first place.

It’s a known fact that when the BNP had 12 councillors elected in 2006 the Labour Party pulled out all the stops to increase the number of immigrants in the borough to dilute BNP support.

This swamping of the borough and huge increase in population (demographic change) has placed public services under enormous strain resulting in local families finding it increasingly difficult to get their children into a school near their homes.

So long as the population increases (and don’t forget that most immigrant families tend to have more children than indigenous ones) there will always be a shortage of places, no matter how many schools are built.

However unfair this budget, the truth is that without demographic change there would be no shortage of school places. Idiot Cruddass and his scummy labour party created this problem. The blame lies solely at their door.

But what really worries Jon Cruddas (and he admitted it to the BD post) is that without those schools, young (enriching) families will have no incentive in moving to Barking & Dagenham.

This means that the white British may still be the majority in four years time, when local elections are to be held, and if the ‘natives’ awake then the BNP may well regain the seats it lost on May the 6th.

Not only will Labour have fewer enriching voters, some having departed again for sunnier climes, but it might lose the support of the huge number of council workers that Labour have also betrayed.

They feared a BNP controlled council would sack many of them, and so they mobilised the electorate to vote Labour, but as the council is almost bankrupt they will probably be fired anyway.

A distant prospect but it is to be hoped that Cruddas and his assorted cronies have serious nightmares.

Should Labour become an anti-immigration party?

Should Labour become an anti-immigration party?

If you believe the MSM you may well think that the British National Party is gone for good.

Well this is not the case, and it may explain why Margaret Hodge, almost a month after she said it is time for BNP members in Barking & Dagenham to pack up and leave. In the Daily Telegraph she feels the need to write an article explaining why the only way to defeat the BNP is through open debate.
[1]http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/politics/bnp/7776363/How-to-beat-the-BNP-and-make-sure-they-dont-come-back.html

Nationalists may find her intervention upsetting but the fact that she was forced to write such an article in the first place shows that the BNP are now a political force powerful enough to make the three other parties confront issues like immigration that they have neglected for too long.

Indeed a debate is going on in left-wing circles about the need for Labour to be tougher on immigration.

David Goodhart, editor of Prospect magazine, argues that Labour must become an anti-immigration party and it uses good arguments that should resonate with anyone claiming to represent the interests of the working class.
[2] http://labour-uncut.co.uk/2010/05/18/labour-must-become-the-anti-immigration-party-david-goodhart/

However the split in the ranks of NuLabour are apparent when we read this from Daniel Trilling in the New Statesman disagreeing from his cloud cuckoo land with Mr Goodhart.

According to Mr Trilling Barking has experienced a relatively low level of immigration compared to the rest of London. And nationally, support for the BNP is strongest in areas with low, rather than high numbers of immigrants. (of course it is strongest in less enriched areas, immigrants won’t vote for the goose that lays the eggs will they you idiot.)
[3] http://www.newstatesman.com/blogs/the-staggers/2010/05/immigration-labour-bnp

This position is echoed by Anders Lustgarten, the author of the play “A day at the racists”

According to Mr Lustgarten the cheap labour of some of those people, immigrants, was a key element of New Labour’s “economic miracle”, yet the state never acknowledged the role they played — so when times went bad, nobody remembered what they had done to make them good. Instead, Miliband, Balls, Burnham et al seem intent on scapegoating immigrants to distract us from the real causes of hardship.
[4] http://www.newstatesman.com/blogs/the-staggers/2010/05/touch-labour-immigration-shows

Clearly he doesn’t know what the word hardship means but nationalists can take comfort from the fact that those left-wing intellectuals, with all their nonsense words, and detachment from the real world, can only help the cause of nationalism because ordinary people that have suffered 13 years of Labour misrule will surely feel insulted and offended by their claim that immigration is good for them.

Of course Labour will never be tough on immigration or the cause of immigration and will never listen to people, but the fact that such a debate is taking place means that the BNP is becoming more powerful by the day and many in the Labour party are feeling the pressure we are putting on them.

ps: Compare the comments in the Telegraph article and the ones in The New Statesman, even the lefties are worried about mass immigration. We are not going away you Fabianites, you will be exposed for what you are. Traitors!!

School shuns St George’ Day and replaces it with Turkey day.

School shuns St George’ Day and replaces it with Turkey day.

I reported in a previous article that one of the achievements of the BNP in Barking & Dagenham was that it brought St George Day into the borough again.

Never before has the council spent money on financing events aimed at celebrating and raising awareness of an important part of  English cultural heritage.

What we achieved is the exception rather than the rule and an article published on the Daily Star confirms that.

In a north London borough furious parents have blasted a school’s plans to shun St George’s Day today and celebrate Turkey instead.

Pupils brought home leaflets for International Turkish Day, which prompted one angry dad to rage: “We should be celebrating St George’s Day, not Turkish day.”

But headteacher Sue Maran, of Rokesly School in Hornsey, north London, said: “What it should say, and what we’re celebrating, is International Children’s Day.”

She said a lunch on offer had a Turkish theme.

This story proves, once again, that British education system has been infiltrated by Marxists with the aim of brainwashing British students by making them deny/forget their cultural past and convince them it is shameful to be English.

They did the same in Barking & Dagenham until the British National Party in 2006 had 12 councillors elected, and our activists have worked hard every year to organise a St George parade.

Would the council finance all those events without the BNP efforts to promote this cultural event?

Of course not.

What this school did is not just immoral but stupid, after all anyone can celebrate St George regardless of his/her ethnicity and in fact I’ve got a St George flag this morning from an Asian lady.

We don’t need to explain that this is part of a bigger plan aimed at the destruction of nations and creation of a new world order.

Therefore what has happened in Barking can be seen by nationalists as the victory of common sense over political correctness.

God bless the UAF!!!

God bless the UAF!!!

As the date for local elections gets closer, and as night follows day, the inevitable happens. The treacherous liberal elite ruling this country increase their efforts to stop the British National Party by all legal, and illegal means, so we can expect more dirty tricks, more lies in the “dead tree press” and more appeals from community leaders for “Social Cohesion” to stop the “fascist” threat.

I have to admit, I was a little worried when I read in The Guardian that Searchlight is organizing a massive campaign to prevent the BNP gaining control of Barking & Dagenham.

But my worries were assuaged when I read that in Bolton 55+ UAF activists were arrested for causing trouble and assaulting police officers, this incident will remind people once again that the real fascist thugs are UAF (and by association all the signatories to it’s founding principles).

Assistant Chief Constable Garry Shewan, from Greater Manchester Police (GMP), accused UAF supporters of deliberately inciting violence and attacking officers who were trying to keep the two sides apart.

“We have seen groups of people, predominantly associated with UAF, engaging in violent confrontation,” he said. “It is clear to me that a large number have attended with the sole intention of committing disorder and their actions have been wholly unacceptable. They acted with, at times, extreme violence and their actions led to injuries to police officers, protesters and members of the public. ( I will not despoil this article with the name of the leading 20 watt light bulb arrested)

“The police are not and should not be the target of such violence and anger, and this protest and the actions of some of the protesters is roundly condemned by GMP and by Bolton Council.”

We Nationalists have known for many tears that the main purpose of the UAF is to use violence against anyone they think is a fascist, but never before has a senior Police officer made a similar statement.

This is an enormous boost for the BNP because voters had the opportunity to see who the violent thugs were, and Gerry Gable, Nick Lowles and their supporters in the MSM, as well as the Church of England will have a difficult job convincing voters that the British National Party is a threat to democracy.

They call us fascist, but who makes the headlines for violent behaviour and denial of the right to present a case for change?

Which organisation threatens to use violence to stop any event in which BNP members are invited, and which organisation always tries to disrupt BNP meetings?

You get my drift?.

I defy anyone to show even one incident in which a BNP member (apart from a few lonely and damaged individuals, and  while on the subject there a damn sight more of them present in UAF than ever were in the BNP) was arrested for assaulting Police officers or innocent bystanders, and as far as I can remember we have never used violence or anti-democratic means to prevent anti-fascists (“The new fascists will be the anti-fascists”: Churchill) meeting or to cancel events to which anti-fascists (nazis) had been invited to speak.

UAF are a blessing for us because their penchant for violence, and brain dead thuggery is the best way to counter anti-BNP smears, what happened in Bolton will surely help us in the following weeks, those images of UAF’ thugs clashing with the Police will not soon be forgotten.

Voters are not that stupid, and when they read or hear negative stories about the BNP they will think! Hmmmm I wonder why the MSM and the musical chair party hate the BNP so much?

I would be interested to know what Darren Rodwell’ thoughts are about the events in Bolton, given that he clearly supports UAF and political violence.

Let’s hope the UAF will carries on with their thuggish tactics, because their behaviour is the best recruiting sergeant for the BNP we could possibly have.

Oh what a Night! – Greenwich BNP election launch raises £2400

Oh what a Night! – Greenwich BNP election launch raises £2400

The chairman opened the meeting stating that these were exciting times for our Party. Never before did the BNP have such potential in the parliamentary and local elections!

Nearly sixty people were in for a display of fine speeches. The legendary veteran Richard Edmonds, the main speaker of the meeting, bestowed on the gathering a beautiful, passionate and emotional rendition of the past and a reality check on what might be the future. He made it clear that our Party was the only hope for our People and we as a movement had to do our utmost to seize this opportunity. It was a pulsating speech of sheer enthusiasm.

Michael Barnbrook, The BNP Sleazebuster and parliamentary candidate for Dagenham and Rainham told the audience that he was going to make them angry and by doing so the good people in the room would donate to the election fund! The former Police Inspector focused on the corruption in the House of Commons and in the GLA. Michael’s plan worked too, as the meeting raised a record branch total of £2400!

After the break two fine, competent Ladies of the British National Party addressed the meeting. First up was the Eltham Parliamentry Candidate Roberta Woods. She stated: “I never expected in my wildest dreams to be a candidate for this Party: however this would be the fourth occasion I am standing.” Roberta made a plea for people to stand in the local elections even if they were only to be as paper candidates and she finished by saying “think what a legacy you would leave for your children if you were to stand as a candidate for this party: you’d be trying to help save your Nation from oblivion”! Roberta’s speech had a profound effect on a number of people who stepped forward to volunteer as candidates after the meeting.

Our last speaker was the very determined and sharp Tess Culnane. She was so passionate and a fine example of the quality of the array of Parliamentary Candidates on show. Tess is standing in Orpington. She made it clear, “I have never been frightened of being a candidate or a member of the British National Party: And why should we be?” Tess explained her role on the GLA. She was investigating slum landlords who converted houses into tiny bedsits and charged a fortune for rent. She also said that “it was a disgrace that part of The Royal Greenwich Park would close due to the Olympics. Tess also asked if anyone had any issues to bring them to her attention and she would do her utmost to investigate them.

The Chairman thanked everyone for their support and closed the meeting.

Sleazebuster Michael Barnbrook PPC Dagenham and Rainham

Sleazebuster Michael Barnbrook PPC Dagenham and Rainham

The British National Party has selected Michael Barnbrook to stand for the Dagenham and Rainham Parliamentary constituency.

Michael is best known as the sleazebuster who has exposed more corrupt politicians in Westminster than any other person.

He was born in Oldchurch Hospital, Romford and was brought up in Plaistow, where he attended Plaistow Grammar School. He left home at the age of 20 to join the Metropolitan Police. He served for 30 years, retiring in the rank of Inspector. On his retirement from the Police he went to work for a local authority, helping them to set up their own Parks Constabulary, where he served a further 7 years in the Parks Constabulary before finally retiring in 2001.

He is a married man with four adult children, a son, daughter and two stepdaughters. He also has six grandchildren.

Since retiring Michael has spent much of his time raising money to purchase headstones and arrange ceremonies for the unmarked graves of holders of the Victoria Cross. To date he has been involved in ten such ceremonies.

His other passion is race walking where he has represented the Metropolitan Police and Ilford Athletic Club. He was awarded his colours for representing the British Police. He is also a member of the Centurions Walking Club, an elite club, where membership is restricted to athletes who have walked one hundred miles in less than 24 hours.

Michael has also been involved in charity work and raised sufficient money to purchase an ambulance for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

His finest achievement is for being the individual responsible for exposing the Parliamentary expenses scandal when he reported Derek Conway MP for abusing his Parliamentary allowances. He also reported Michael Martin for misuse of air miles. This together with the Derek Conway affair, were instrumental in causing Michael Martin, the Speaker of the House of Commons, to stand down. This is the first time this has happened in 300 years.

Michael Barnbrook has been responsible for nine MPs having to stand down at the next election or repay monies to the Parliamentary fees office. It is estimated that as a direct result of Michael Barnbrook’s fight against Parliamentary corruption, as many as 150 MPs will be standing down at the next General Election.

As the son of a former Docker from the East End and having been brought up in a working class environment, Michael Barnbrook knows that he can identify with the hard working constituents of Dagenham and Rainham, especially senior citizens, whom he considers have been badly let down by the Labour Party.

Michael Barnbrook will be working closely with British National Party Chairman Nick Griffin MEP who is the candidate in the neighbouring constituency of Barking and also with his namesake (but no relation!) Richard Barnbrook who is the prospective BNP leader of Barking and Dagenham Council.

More proof that Margaret Hodge holds her voters in contempt.

More proof that Margaret Hodge holds her voters in contempt.

Update on the attack at Becontree. As I have already said, I blame Labour politicians for the attack on 5th of November 2009 when one of a pack of black teenagers threw a glass bottle at me outside Becontree station.

I have posted the Crudass comment, this is the one from Margaret Hodge MP for Barking:

Dear Giuseppe De Santis

Your allegations are not offensive – they are merely daft. Mrs Hodge condemns all acts of anti-social and criminal behaviour regardless of who perpetrates them.

Mike Haywood
Head of Office
Rt Hon Margaret Hodge MP

You will have noticed that the email was written by one of her assistants, she probably didn’t read it at all.

Clearly she is too busy to look at the problems of people living in her constituency, and delegates this task to her assistants.

But this should surprise nobody.

A few years ago she said very clearly, Labour doesn’t need the support of the white-working class as immigrants will replace them as Labour voters.

It may explain why, when Ford closed the car factory in Dagenham she did nothing to protest against its closure and then told redundant factory workers they could stack shelves in Tesco.

When those neglected workers embraced the British National Party en-masse, she complained to the press expressing fear that 8 out of 10 whites would support the BNP.

After we had 12 councillors elected she and Jon Cruddas decided to swamp the borough with immigrants, something that is evident to anybody who lives in the Borough.

As the BNP grows in size, and could take control of Barking & Dagenham, she and Cruddas encourage by their inactivity, UAF thugs to intimidate BNP activists and urge them to use violence against us: This is why those black teenagers felt entitled to throw a glass bottle at me.

If Mrs Hodge condemns ‘acts of criminal behaviour’, why has she never blasted the UAF for allowing its thugs to assault BNP activists?

Why has she never stood in the cold collecting signatures for the campaign against knife-crime?

Richard Barnbrook did it a lot, and many who signed were black and asian, they could see that somebody who is called a “fascist and racist” was there to listen and cared about a problem that affects all communities.

We don’t need to comment further on that as we know the answer.

Like Jon Cruddas and others in the Labour party, she is deliberately engineering the destruction of this country for their own interest, and she treats her voters with contempt, but as those voters are starting to wake up she need something to intimidate them.

Let’s not forget that the woman who called BNP supporters fascist was council leader in Islington, covered up a paedophile ring who were abusing vulnerable children and were then put into care.

When this scandal emerged Mrs Hodge did nothing to help the authorities bring the culprits to justice, but attacked the victims claiming they were making up their stories.

This is the woman who is representing Barking, a bully who rubs shoulders with paedophiles, and allows all sort of foreign filth to move into the borough and make life a misery for law abiding people.

I make no apology for attacking her, she is unfit not just to be an MP, but to be in this country.

It’s time for her to face public outcry.

Barking and Dagenham Labour Party in Chaos

Barking and Dagenham Labour Party in Chaos

Barking and Dagenham Post Councillors Cllrs Spring Cleaning

The above insipid article by the Labour biased Barking and Dagenham Post seeks to down play the chaos in the local Labour party. The recent revolt and chaos stems from the interference of Margaret Hodge MP for Barking and her sock puppets Domonic Twomey and Darren Rodwell who seem to have more power than the local Council Leader Liam Smith. Twomey who is not even a local councillor but the son of one is well known for his roughshod bullying style. Twomey and Hodge have joined forces to get rid of any councillors they regard as ‘trouble’. This includes some councillors who have been outspoken of the ‘loony left direction’ the party is taking. Others are objectors to the ‘Africans for Essex’ programme and the swamping of Barking and Dagenham with Africans. Disgruntled councillors have made their feelings clear in the comments section of this ARTICLE in Tribune.

Some councillors have decided not to go quietly and have gone independent causing further upheavals. Others have been more vocal about the way they have been treated. Cllr Val Rush was censured by the Labour group for a foul mouth tirade after she was given the news about her deselection. The BNP believe Cllr Rush has every right to be outraged about her treatment.  Others have decided to post their views on the chaos and infighting on blogs.  One such blog can be found HERE

The problem is the local labour party is run by bullies and fear and intimadation is what governs. Pretty much how Hitler and Stalin made their people do there bidding but in the end this is not sustainable. Bullies never win and cowards are shown up to be what they are. The local BNP are benefiting from this situation and are in talks with a number of sympathetic Labour Councillors who have expressed a wish to stand at the next local elections.

BNP Barking and Dagenham Budget 2009/10

BNP Barking and Dagenham Budget 2009/10

                                                                       British National Party Budget 2009/2010

Compiled and Presented by

Councillor Robert Bailey, Mr Chris Forster

Introduction

The British National Party is delivering its budget for 2009/10 when Britain is facing economic meltdown. The Labour Party and Gordon Brown promised an end to boom and bust and this has now been exposed as a lie.

The duty of this council is to provide essential services to the boroughs residents. This Labour council has wasted money on immigrants, employing more middle managers, non jobs, self promotion, and political correctness. The residents of this borough are sick to the back teeth of this mismanagement of their money and demand a return to fiscal prudence and commonsense.

The BNP budget recognizes that this council cannot afford to house and provide services to all sorts of migrants the majority who are only here temporarily and who provide no benefits to the local economy. It also recognizes the failure and poison of political correctness and multiculturalism and the cost of it to local residents. The BNP budget furthermore seeks where possible to do away with agency and contracting services and instead improve service delivery by the council and where possible to employ British people in British jobs.

The BNP budget has identified significant savings of just over £10 million pounds. If implemented the BNP budget would mean a reduction of council tax by nearly 4%. The budget also includes projects which would deliver major savings of tens of millions of pounds for years to come.

Labours budget on the other hand offers a freeze in council tax yet an increase in basic rent and service charges by nearly 7%. Communal heating charges are set to go up by an unprecedented 10%. The idea that you can offer a council tax freeze whilst putting up council rent and communal charges is obscene and underhand. The BNP budget would not only reduce council tax it would freeze council service charges and communal heating charges

The BNP budget proposes as follows:

Adult & Community Services

Passenger Transport Services

We will make £200,000 pounds available for eco vehicles to eliminate the cost of paying for private taxi services.

Older Persons – Commissioned Services

This Labour council will increase the costs of meals delivered to the elderly residents of the borough by private contractors. The BNP will seek to reduce the costs of providing meals on wheels by bringing the service in-house and aim to deliver more meals to the poor and elderly people of this borough. We do not anticipate any extra costs from this change but savings to be made in the long term.

CCTV, Community Safety and Parks Police, Substance Misuse and Youth Offending Service

These functions will be put under the management of the Head of Environmental & Enforcement services bringing an administrative and support saving of £200,000.

Community & Development

Voluntary organisations which are racist and discriminatory in their ethos and operation and not accessible to the entire taxpaying population will be axed.

These include:

  • Ethnic Minority Partnership Association
  • Arabic Speaking Women
  • Barking Muslim & Cultural Society
  • Community Active Support
  • London Francophone Programme
  • Race Equality Council
  • Faith Forum
  • LGBT Forum
  • Refugee Network B & D
  • CIIL
  • B & D African Welfare Association
  • African Youth League
  • Praxis International Research
  • Punjabi Welfare
  • Quaker Social Action
  • Somali Women’s Association
  • Yu Hua Chinese Association
  • International Gospel & Health Group
  • Turkish Women

It is anticipated that axing these grants will save in excess of 250,000 pounds to the taxpayer this year and considerable sums in the future.

Community Halls

The running of community halls will be brought back in-house. We will reduce the 700,000 pounds deficit to 350,000 pounds by reducing hourly charges and properly marketing the facilities to commercial and community groups.

Equalities & Diversity

The BNP will not fund activities which are an unnecessary burden on the taxpayer and every other council department. Moving people from these non jobs and removing this politically correct nonsense for council business will save 200,000 pounds.

Children’s Services Department

Family & Targeted Support

The BNP believes that children in Education require discipline, not social workers and, to this end this unit will be scrapped and any residual function will be picked up by other departments. Saving of 750,000 pounds.

Schools (Capital Borrowing – Non Budget Item)

It is proposed by the BNP to build a school catering for all children with special needs on Barking Riverside. The present arrangement of delivering services to these children through a mixture of service providers and in various locations causes upset and distress to children and their parents. It also equates to variable standards. The Council Finance Department has estimated that the sum of 20 million pounds would enable the building of a state of the art facility for the children in this borough. The cost of borrowing would be insignificant with many benefits accruing to the council and the parents of the children. Anticipated annual savings of 5 million pounds can be made. The new school will be placed under the management of Trinity Special Schools who will also be encouraged to make the school profitable in the long term.

Residential Care Providers (Capital Borrowing – Non Budget Item)

We will build a 15 million pounds specialist boarding school on council owned land and with a 2 million pound staff budget and cost of capital, save 10 million pounds per year.

Other Care Providers (Non Budget Item)

Whilst this is not a direct saving to the borough’s taxpayers, as the service is centrally funded, it is in the borough resident’s broader interests not to attract asylum seekers or migrants to come and live here. We will eliminate the asylum service which costs 4 million pounds a year to run.

Catering Services

It is anticipated that savings of 100,000 pounds can be made by chopping the supply of halal meat to all educational facilities.

Customers Services Department

Refuse Collection

It is recognised that the introduction of wheelie bins should reduce the amount of employees in refuse collection. However, it is intended that there should be no redundancies and that the staff surplus should be given other tasks in dealing with refuse and recycling to increase the green credentials of the borough.

Cleansing

We will allow 200,000 pounds to fund the purchase of new sweeping and cleansing vehicles.

Vehicle Fleet

We will make available £1,000,000 to fund the purchase of eco vehicles and 400,000 pounds for staffing and running costs making a saving of 100,000 pounds against taxis and minicabs . We will increase the vehicle pool by including the Mayor’s cars as available for any appropriate council use.

Environmental Health & Trading Standards

We will make 200,000 pounds available to recruit extra Environmental Health Officers to focus on food hygiene standards.

Enforcement

We have detailed earlier that Enforcement will take on some functions from other departments. In line with its new emphasis it will take over the security contract from TAG K9 which is estimated to be worth £2.9 million pounds in 08/09. We would also recruit 12 more street wardens as part of the new Barking and Dagenham Enforcement Section at a cost of 500,000 pounds.

Cemeteries

We will make 300,000 pounds for the construction of visitors’ centers and toilet facilities at the borough’s three cemeteries.

Parks & Open Spaces (Operational)

We will place a freeze on any increases to the charges for sports facilities. This will be a cost of 25,000 pounds.

Arboriculture

We will save 25,000 pounds of agency costs by investing 80,000 pounds in machinery and staff to do the job.

Registration Service

We will balance the books of the Registration Service, making a saving of 50,000 pounds by increasing the charge for Citizenship ceremonies.

National Non-Domestic Rates

We will apply a discretionary 10% discount for existing and new payers of this tax. The BNP understands that in these economic circumstances, the council should help the business community as much as it can.

General Housing (Non Budget Item)

The council currently has 520 families in private landlord rented accommodation as emergency housing. This is costing the borough in the region of 6 million pounds per annum. The BNP will provide a temporary accommodation site based on unused brownfield sites developed with mains drainage and electricity at a cost of 1 million pounds and hard standing and paths at a cost of 1 million pounds and equipped with previously used caravans at a cost of 500,000 pounds. 500,000 pounds will be allowed for management and maintenance of the site producing an annual saving of 3 million pounds. It is anticipated that this site could be in operation within six months delivering savings this budget year.

We will scrap the MCIL Scheme which discriminates against local people and and return to the points based system. The aim is to put local people at the front of the queue for council housing.

Regeneration

Public Conveniences

Management of the public conveniences facilities will be put under Environment, bringing about a saving of 20,000 pounds through rationalisation.

Skills Learning & Enterprise Services

Although the 630,000 pounds costs are reclaimed from agencies, we will cease to operate this unit as it is likely to be an attraction to refugees and to attract them to the borough. It then ultimately leads them to draw on the resources of the borough.

Olympic Unit

We will scrap the Olympic Unit saving 300,000 pounds. We will define the objectives within the general role of sports centres allowing 150,000 pounds to do this, making a net saving of 150,000 pounds.

Events

We will reduce the budget from 400,000 pounds to 200,000 pounds making a saving of 200,000 pounds. We will place a function of presenting free classical concerts at the Barking Festival and at the Dagenham Show on the Leisure, Arts and Events section. There will also be provision for a St George’s Day celebration.

Commercial & Other Properties

To address the economic climate we will reduce new and existing rents to maintain existing tenants and attract new ones. Whilst we would envisage this would not result in any net cost, we would allow for a reduction of 200,000 pounds in income as part of the cost of maintaining the local economy.

Withdrawal from Commercial Rented Premises

The BNP does not believe that the council should be paying private landlords for use of buildings. In line with this philosophy, a BNP council would withdraw from all rented private premises. We would anticipate savings in the commercial rented sector of 500,000 pounds.

Car Parks

We will build a new public car park on the site of Rogers Roaddepot to serve this industrial area and Dagenham stations which will cost 600,00 pounds.

Housing Services (Non Budget Item)

It is not fair that council tenants pick up the bill for Labour’s mismanagement of the economy and Council Housing stock. The BNP unfortunately has no control over rent increases. Labour is putting up basic rent and tenant service charges, an average of 6.78% for 2009/10, which equates to an extra £5 a week council tenants will have to find. The BNP will freeze the services part of the rent increase at its current level. The BNP will not put up communal heating charges which are due to increase by 10 per cent.

Resources Department

Partnerships & Communications

We will make 10,000 pounds available for new machinery for the print unit and 50,000 for additional staff. We will reduce the external print budget by 200,000 pounds by in-house printing of all documents and the elimination of The Citizen, People Matters, Spotlight in hard copy. All Council journals would in the future be available on line. Other necessary information will be compiled by the council for a cheap as possible broadsheet for printing by the print unit. The Council broadsheet would be impartial and restricted to council information matters. It certainly would not aim to replace our excellent local newspapers.

Human Resources

Whilst we appreciate the need to run a Personnel Department, we see no benefit to the public from Gender Equality Schemes or Equality & Diversity Programmes and to account for this, we will slash the budget by 1,000,000 pounds. Although we note from the officers that the 2008/09 service budget is 357,000 pounds we are of the view that this subject, together with celebrating diversity is of such importance to the council that we are inclined to believe that the real figure is much higher.

Marketing and Communications

Marketing and Communications department will make savings of one million pounds. All staff and non staff adverts will be directed towards the Councils Internet website or for inclusion in the new council weekly broadsheet produced in house. Total expected savings £2,000,000.

Strategic Finance & Audit

We will make 150,000 pounds available to the Internal Audit section to recruit staff that will specialize in cost effectiveness studies.

Kestrel Project (Non Budget Item)

The Kestrel Project is to be axed from the Capital Programme saving 139,000 pounds. The money will be used for the renaming of all streets and buildings dedicated to Labour Party activists and members.

Conclusion

If this budget is accepted by the assembly it would mark a return to commonsense and the putting of local people first in the queue for housing and services. This budget is financially sustainable and robust. It would deliver millions of pounds of savings not just this year but in consequent years. It is business friendly, provides jobs opportunities for local people, improves the boroughs green credentials, and puts money back in local people’s pockets. It aims to abolish political correctness and multiculturalism which fosters racism and separatism and which works against the interests of British people. If adopted it will mark a watershed in politics in this country and provide a beacon of hope to the people of this Great nation. Thank You.
