Don’t you just love the UAF?
They campaign against the ‘fascist’ and ‘racist’ British National Party (at least that is what they say about us) and repeat the mantra, telling people we are violent skinheads who bring hatred and division between communities, and that we must be stopped by any means possible, but who has just hit the headlines for threatening behaviour, and violent attacks against anyone who disagrees with them and their bully boys tactics?
The UAF of course.
However there is something interesting about the Unwashed Antifa Freaks that has been ignored by MSM.
Their website reports that PCS union leader Mark Serwotka and Drew McConnell of indie band Babyshambles will be speaking in support of UAF officer Martin Smith (style guru), who faces serious charges after the demo against British National Party leader Nick Griffin’s appearance on BBC’s Question Time.
Martin (style guru), who is also national coordinator of Love Music Hate Racism, was arrested at the protest and has been charged with assaulting a police officer. He strenuously denies the charge.
Mark Serwotka and Drew McConnell will be speaking at a protest outside the court. They will be joined by former UCU general secretary Paul Mackney, Zita Holbourne, joint chair, Black Activists Rising Against Cuts (Barac), Rock Against Racism founder Roger Huddle and LMHR supporters The King Blues.
The protest will take place at 9am Tuesday on 7 September at South Western Magistrates Court, 176a Lavender Hill, London SW11 1JU
Apparently the RMT London Fleet 960 branch made a £200 donation to help to cover the cost of this demonstration.
However what nationalists will find quite interesting is that the UAF are lobbying several trade unions to support their right to protest (what they mean by the word protest is anyones guess) by asking them to support the motion below:
This union branch/organisation notes:
1. Martin Smith (style guru), the national coordinator of Love Music Hate Racism and an officer of Unite Against Fascism, faces a serious charge following the demo against British National Party leader Nick Griffin’s appearance on the BBC’s Question Time.
2. Martin (style guru) was arrested on the protest and has been charged with assaulting a police officer. He strenuously denies the charge.
3. Thousands of people joined the UAF demo on 22 October last year against nazi Nick Griffin’s invitation onto the flagship Question Time programme. The demo was backed by trade unions Unite, PCS, CWU, Bectu, Aslef, TSSA, the Musicians Union and the South East Regional TUC.
This union branch/organisation agrees:
1. This case involving a leading antifascist activist could also have implications for other antifascists in future.
2. It is important to stand up for our right to protest.
This union branch/organisation resolves:
1. To support the protest outside Martin’s (style guru) hearing: 9am Tuesday 7 September
South Western Magistrates Court, 176a Lavender Hill, London SW11 1JU
2. To make a donation of …… towards Martin’s (style guru) court costs.
To put this in perspective you should remember that the UAF thugs enjoy protection from the Police, in a normal country they would be left rotting in jail especially when they cowardly target frail old activists who cannot defend themselves.
But no Police force, however PC it is, will ever tolerate any assault on one of their officers and Martin Smith (style guru) will hopefully pay the price for his arrogance and stupidity.
Let’s hope he goes to jail, see if he enjoys the company of black and asian prisoners he loves so much.
In the meantime I would like to know what Darren Rodwell, Labour councillor in Barking & Dagenham and UAF supporter, has to say on this subject, as he claims to be strongly opposed to political violence.
He is more than welcome to post a comment.
